She claimed to have loved and lost, but how can she forget the feeling of love so quickly? In truth, was what it was love? How do you know that you are or every was in love? It is a feeling where you miss that person so much it hurts? If it was a feeling felt, then how can one forget it?
Sadly, she doesn't miss anything... only the reminisce of the youth once was. The feeling of playing in the park with all the foliage leaves on the ground. The sound of the wind blowing by... and the laughters of her brothers as they chased each other around the jungle gym... The love that she misses was of family. Being surrounded by her relatives, discussing memories of when she was just a toddler. She only misses that.
As one grows up, "fall in love" is it meant for life to be more complicated? It shouldn't. "I'm tired of the chase and the game." Perhaps, she wasn't meant to be in love, for a soul that doesn't want to feel can do no good when asked to do so against their own will. The pleasure of lust, may be delightful at the moment... but when it's all done and over with... one will feel the void that physical intimacy cannot fill.
If pity is love... can one follow through with that for the rest of their life? If comfort is love, then is that the reason for people to stay together yet still unhappy?? The truth is though.... if one can be happy alone.... then why bother being in a relationship??? Attention is thrilling.... but perhaps not worth the strain... not worth being trapped in a cage... wanting out even before it begins.
