I dragged you across my skin,
and let you in;
You took over me,
never set me free.
Just like that the puzzle pieces-
they turned to dust,
it was not enough.
I made promises,
perhaps white lies,
I did not mean to keep.
And yet I was captivated,
and so I stayed,
even passed the day
when I meant to flee.
Perhaps I was never perfect,
many times I stated:
worthless.I even was to say-
I was a waste of space.
Something woke me up,
though your words,
they weren’t enough.
You had me entranced,
my need to leave at a
second glance.And I couldn’t make that
same mistake.
So when all is said and done,
I do not know how this will
end.I only hope you shall not
hate me-
and let you in;
You took over me,
never set me free.
Just like that the puzzle pieces-
they turned to dust,
it was not enough.
I made promises,
perhaps white lies,
I did not mean to keep.
And yet I was captivated,
and so I stayed,
even passed the day
when I meant to flee.
Perhaps I was never perfect,
many times I stated:

I was a waste of space.
Something woke me up,
though your words,

You had me entranced,
my need to leave at a
