Let me tell you a story about this little girl. She had a wonderful family, beautiful parents, mischievous siblings and an adoring granny who always stalked her. Time was once rough and she wasn't able to see her folks much, but she knew they love her. Growing up, it was only her brothers and her. The three of them were always going to the park, playing games and had imaginary adventures in their spaceships and forts.
As time began to progress and the three of them had to grow up ... things drifted apart and even though the boys were still tightly knit. The little girl had went her separate path. She would hang out with her girlfriends and leave her brothers home with grandma. But since she was in High School now, it had became a norm in the household. On occasion the three children would get together and hang out.... but they had less in common than before... the irony of growing up....
After the girl graduated High School, a chapter of her life had closed and now she thought " I can actually be free." Little did she knew a few months after her high school graduation she was going to encounter an evil demon that will change her life forever.
She had started off with trying to be an adult and go out to house parties and drinking. She thought it was "cool." The ironic thing was she would typically look down on the ones who does stupid stuff in order to fit in. She kept telling herself... "but this is what I enjoy doing."
After the short summer was over, she was heading to college. It was just a small community college, she thought she'd start off with and once she'd graduated, she'd find a job then pursue her dreams. She parents were of course behind her on the whole thing.
Then one night in October after months of getting to know her new friend, she was offered the chance to go out with a couple older friends, she took it and went thinking since her friend was so prudent, nothing "fun" was going to happen. When she arrived, she saw two guys sitting by the curb and there was one person who she knew ... so of course "lets say hi". The unfortunate "hi" that completely twisted the heart of this naive girl forever.
Her and her friend got into the car with the guys and decided to go out dancing but later decided to go to the devils house instead. The devil , cautiously maneuvered his way into the girl life ever so quickly that she didn't have time to analyzed the whole situation. She thought it was just pure fun, nothing serious until somehow she noticed herself thinking about him. Yet one side of her watched herself inched by inched going into the deep dark hole without being able to pull her back. It's almost like waking up in the middle of a heart surgery, and not being able to move any part of your body to notify people surrounding you that you've woken.
So for the next 5 months of her life, she had to watch herself making one mistake after the other, as if she was under the devil's spell. That's what she had called it... "Spell Bound". It was the longest 5 months of her life ... then once she was finally able to snap out of it, she was too weak minded to deal with the current event in her life that she froze. All she wanted to do was go. Far, Far away. And so she did.
Despite having a few good friends to vent to, she was merely alone. Until one late september in 08', she met another guy that was able to lend her a hand and pulled her up from the mucky water that had consumed her...Unfortunately, the decision was made by then and she flew away from the protective nest that she once called home.
Despite flying far away, she still was diluted until now.
Of course those who reads my blog probably could figure that this little girl was I. Life just has the weirdest way to teach you lessons. From my past experience, I think I prefer reading about the mistakes from someone else perspective. I honestly don't care for "live then learn", I just prefer doing everything slow and get it right the first time rather.... Some people may say that they would probably not take back what happened in the past despite how bad it was because it made them the person they are today. But I see differ.... if I could go back to that October, I'd dodge it with every being of me to never interact with "the devil."
you'r indirectly call your grandma a stalker? D: lol
